Fuel prices in the UAE have dropped for November 2026, marking the first decrease in four months even as global crude markets posted gains through October. According to the UAE's Fuel Price Committee, Super 98 petrol will fall from Dh4.40 per litre in October to Dh4.16 in November, a drop of 24 fils, or roughly 5.5 per cent.
Special 95 petrol will see an identical 24-fils cut, moving from Dh4.28 to Dh4.04 a litre. E-Plus 91 will drop from Dh4.21 to Dh3.97, a decline of about 5.7 per cent, while diesel will edge down by 5 fils, from Dh4.80 to Dh4.75 a litre, a comparatively modest 1 per cent reduction.
The decrease comes despite a firmer oil market: Brent crude, the benchmark for roughly two-thirds of the world's crude oil, rose 2.4 per cent in October to settle at $117.64 a barrel, a trend that would normally point toward higher, not lower, pump prices in the UAE's monthly pricing model.
Even with November's relief, motorists in the UAE are still paying significantly more than they were earlier this year. Current petrol prices remain roughly 80 per cent higher than in February, before the outbreak of the Iran war, a reminder of how sharply the regional conflict reshaped fuel costs even as this particular month brings a rare reprieve.
The UAE adjusts fuel prices monthly based on a committee review of international benchmarks, a system introduced in 2015 to align domestic prices more closely with global markets while smoothing month-to-month volatility for consumers.
